Strickland Road Service has the off-road
and recovery equipment to meet our customers' needs.
|

Besides being a serious recovery truck, Maxx is a fire breathing fan favorite at many of our
local parades.
|
|

For mud recoveries we use "Madd Maxx",
Maxx is a 1978 1-ton Dodge Power Wagon Retriever equipped with a powerful Tulsa Winch. It has been lifted 12" suspension,
2" body and runs on 44" tall TSL Bogger Tires powered by a bored over 360 Dodge.
|

For Semis that get stuck in the mud, we use "The General". This short wheelbase tandem axle
semi-wrecker has a powerful direct drive Tulsa Winch. The short wheelbase allows us to maneuver the truck in tight places
usually associated with mud recoveries.

|

For this recovery, we had to use The General to winch the semi, which had mired down to the
frame in a natural fed spring filled with trees and tree stumps. Madd Maxx was used to help maneuver the General in between
pulls.
